No one likes to wake up hot or cold to discover their HVAC system isn’t working.

Just as with your vehicle, routine maintenance and inspections help identify performance and safety issues before they become costly repairs. Clean, healthy systems are also more energy efficient, saving you on your utility bills.

We recommend each customer receive two maintenance visits a year to check their HVAC system. In spring, we will service the air conditioning equipment before peak cooling season, and in fall we will tune up the heating system before temps dip below freezing overnight. A discount is available for customers booking both spring and fall services.

The items reviewed during a maintenance are somewhat dependent on the fuel source and type of system you have, but generally include:

• Taking electrical readings of motors, capacitors, and contactors
• Confirming refrigerant pressures and temperature splits
• Confirming gas pressures and proper combustion
• Checking indoor and outdoor coils for cleanliness
• Ensuring clear drainage lines
• Assessing airflow and filter cleanliness

During the visit we are also happy to answer any questions you have, and we will log information about your system to expedite any future needs. Maintenance customers also receive preferential scheduling.
